Single Card Images

As you can imagine, finding and assigning images for every card in every variation is a monumental task. Therefore, we offer you the opportunity to assist us in this endeavor.

Taking Photos

When photographing individual cards or packs, ensure that the photo is well-lit and as straight as possible. We recommend using a "PDF Scanner App". These apps are designed to scan documents and often automatically straighten photos, making post-processing easier.

Keep in mind that this guide is NOT for photos in your offers but rather of the item itself. For single cards, focus solely on the main content. For standard cards, this means photographing the front, and for e.g. booklets, the inside pages should be captured.

Uploading Photos

If the item does not already have a photo, you can upload one by clicking the "add image button" at the bottom right.

Replacing & Reporting Photos

If the item already has a photo, you can report the existing photo and upload a replacement by using the "add image button". Possible reasons for reporting include:

  • Poor Quality
The new image will be reviewed by us and activated if the quality is indeed better.
  • Wrong Image
The current image will be removed immediately and then reviewed.
  • Inappropiate Content
The image will be removed immediately and reviewed. Actions will be taken against the user who uploaded the Image.

Product Photos for your Offers

When creating Offers, you have the option to upload a product photo. This is especially important for rare Cards to showcase their condition beforehand. Of course, you can also provide photos for other product types. Here are some general tips and specific instructions for individual cards.

General Tips for All Product Types

  1. Preparation
    • - Gently clean your item to remove fingerprints or dust.
    • - Place the item on a flat, clean surface with a neutral background (e.g., white paper).
  2. Lighting
    • - Use natural light or good artificial lighting to avoid shadows and reflections.
    • - Ensure the entire item is evenly lit.
  3. Make Photo
    • - Use a good camera (smartphones are also suitable) to capture sharp and clear images.
    • - Photograph the item so that all important details are visible. Make sure no parts are cropped out and the focus is on the item.
  4. Background
    • - Choose a neutral background that doesn’t distract from the item and ensures clarity.

Specific Instructions for Single Cards

  1. Front and Back Photos
    • - Photograph the front of the card with good lighting, ensuring there are no shadows or reflections.

    • - Combine the photos of the front and back into a single image, ensuring both sides are clear and visible.
    • - Ensure the combined image is of high quality and displays all important details.
